TableSnap is built to be private by design.

What we collect

Nothing. TableSnap does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information or browsing data. There are no servers that receive your data, no analytics, and no tracking.

How TableSnap works

• TableSnap reads a web page's contents only when you click the TableSnap icon on that page.
• All table detection, extraction, and conversion happen locally inside your browser.
• The data you copy or export goes only to your clipboard or to a file you download. It never leaves your device.

Permissions

• activeTab — lets TableSnap read the current page's tables, only after you click the icon.
• scripting — lets TableSnap run its table-extraction code on the current page.
• clipboardWrite — lets the "Copy" button place the table on your clipboard.

TableSnap requests no broad host permissions and loads no remote code.

Third parties

TableSnap does not share, sell, or transfer any data to third parties, because it does not collect any data in the first place.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
